After a grueling high-heeled, pink booted, cobble stone dance audition, Emma got sent home while Autumn survived to see her tresses turned tawny in the makeover episode!
The girls are getting dye jobs, in hopes that it will bring out their “Outer Elle.” Maybe the age old question of “Do Blondes Have More Fun?” will finally be answered!
Bailey’s hair cut looked exactly the same and she was bawling! Meanwhile, Natalie’s new ‘do looks amazing. Totally Elle Woods-esque. I can’t believe how short they cut Autumn’s hair! It looks cute, though, even if she doesn’t like it.
It’s so cool how Laura Bell Bundy really loved playing Elle and that she really grew from her character. You could tell she really is going to miss the job. It’s kinda sad she’s passing the torch!
Natalie’s standout performance in the photo shoot competition earned her a dinner date with Andy Karl. I really liked Lauren’s shoot. She’s fast becoming my favorite of the pack. I definitely thought she’d be the runner up. But, Bailey scored the honorable mention slot.
It seems like all of the girls are having an emotional breakdown during the rehearsal. It’s a sad song, but get a grip girls! You’ve got to put in an awesome audition to stay in the competition.
It’s Audition Day and the girls are performing “Legally Blonde: The Ballad.” I thought Autumn and Lauren did an amazing job. I was so disappointed with Rhiannon. She doesn’t sound strong enough vocally to be on Broadway. On the Brightside, both Autumn and Lauren are in the top two, and the other three ladies are headed to the casting office for the next cut.
I’m so surprised when Natalie gets cut. The judges didn’t think that her newly blonde hair was enough to make her seem like the Elle Woods. I thought for sure her powerhouse voice would carry her through to the next round. Do you girls agree with the judges decision? Blog about it!
